The SAFESCAN Intercept Pillar provides ferromagnetic screening of persons (patients, visitors and staff) and equipment in the MR environment. This one product can be sited to help detect a broad range of ferromagnetic threats when the pillars are 26-28 inches, and to help detect larger ferromagnetic threats when positioned up to 52" apart.
The SAFESCAN Intercept Pillar is very easy to set up and operate. In minutes, this pass-through system can be relocated, or reconfigured to meet changing needs, unlike anything Mednovus has offered before.
The SAFESCAN Intercept Pillar system provides independent left-right detection capabilities for ferromagnetic threat objects, visual ready-indicator with prominent alarm displays, and two-tone audio alarm with adjustable volume.
